A message from the past-The Phoenix

-Satyavani Kakarla

A message from the past, couple years ago.

My walk that day led me to this message from the sky…The Phoenix!

I enjoy walking wherever it is, blessed to be surrounded by serene sceneries most of the time, one day I had stepped out on a contemplative walk. I had lost my mother around that time, into couple months recovering and understanding life.

Passed by greener pastures, tall tress surrounded by wilderness preserve, a creek running by walk path in meandering ways, very much grounded I was noticing the sceneries, inhaling fresh air and the perfumes of distinct quality in the air. The walk was very refreshing and at some point, I took a U-turn and started to trace back home. After a few steps into the return path, I for some reason looked up the sky as if something was calling me. Gazed the clear and bright blue sky up, my eyes drew more closely to check and scan the skies out for some reason, and at some point, I stopped, there was something that drew my attention. For some reason the attraction was strong, looked several times to identify what it was, and quite strongly confirmed it did look like a phoenix, that was what came to mind and it did look like that…

I carried on my walk a bit later appreciating the sky message and thought that if we pay attention, we do get video texts from the higher power, to us creations on the earth, the human chips. Savored the rest of the walk quietly, the fresh air and the dazzling flower blooms along curbside in the neighborhood, setting out for the spring to come.

Reached home safely, and minded the rest of the evening in a normal way, but the form and appearance of Phoenix got stuck in mind.

After all my chores, I Googled, our search engine pal we have handy nowadays, to know the significance of the bird, that is my usual way to ponder into deeper meanings. The Phoenix is a mythical bird that consciously consumes itself in flames to be reborn new from its ashes. Quite interesting I thought, there is always a meaning to everything around us. One of the myths which probably best describes is about that transformation that our ego must process in our endeavors. The phoenix is the symbol of the metamorphosis of human consciousness and our creative spirit that each of us must undergo to one degree or another to create what we desire. The method that is used is our choice but the process is inescapable.

What a beautiful message I thought, well, I had picked up a lot of wisdom and awareness that day and cherish what I was going through and the serendipity moments I embraced to help me process my emotions and feelings.

I am sure you must have faced such circumstances and moments; how did you process and what was your aid?
