Be Hindu first
We as Hindus keep connecting ourselves with our own past, but holistically no one wants to go back for it, it’s like majorly, we want to celebrate our past heritage but adopting it into one’s own life, many have their own apprehensions.
Again, we Hindus divide ourselves into communities and castes and start digging our differences and not commonalities.
Atleast, not all are on same page at any point of time.
In closed doors all are having their rules but on a common platform we don’t speak one. This has to change,
If not we are swallowed up by dominating countries and religions. This is Happening from times immemorial.
Unity in thoughts and actions need to go hand in hand. Our traditional practices vary from family to family. But that never meant that we criticise or look down upon others family practices. This happens even in the houses where the daughter in law comes from a different house and a daughter goes to a totally new family. Following our own practice and respecting others also is a great teaching which should be inculcated from childhood.
For others who have no such inherited practices, they can pickup good ones from relations or from the spiritual books which show us proper directions. There are also *Aapadh Dharma soothrams* which come in handy when we want to follow our traditions.
Again, even if there are families who do not follow any such ancient traditions, but live a simple, pious life should not be secluded but be absorbed into the religion but not out caste them. There are few practices which many families left over the years due to Nuclear family system or for not having proper support system and also due to job presseures, work timings. It can also be as there are families who moved away from their villages, cities, state and also countries.
If these rules are adhered, we as Hindus can live peacefully and continue our sanatana dharma with great dignity.
Above all the differences, be a Hindu first.
