Walking on the edge of a river

English Translation – Swathi Sreepada

Telugu original written by – Dr.C.Bhavani Devi

A lonely Taproot

Though we run endlessly
Along the time indicator
Many have their own at the end
Hovered agony at the lonely end
Grumbling and giving up
Behind the pretense of seriousness, In
the attack of the winds of nightmares
When the terror of death shivers …

In those days,
Around me are all my own
As if living for each other
Sharing the troubles as their own
But finally, what stayed back
Is the hunger of love.
Mother and father, sisters, elder
and younger brothers
Though lived separately
Mother-root alone held them together
strongly

When other child roots
Hug the main root crisscrossed
Mother-root alone provides
Food to the family tree

If the taproot shatters and blends in the
soil The distance between the child roots
Moves too far to join hands
Suffocating in the running life
With varied useless addicted tunes
They break the main causes of
existence

A single taproot
Can held together any number
Of child roots
If that vanishes
Everything becomes chaos!
