Last moments

Suddenly
A pain shot through his heart
He laughed as if nothing had happened
But the laughter did not come out
The pain was reflected in his face
Within a few moments
That pain turned into a storm
As if his heart was being tightened with a noose, as if it had stolen his breath
His hands trembled
Fear was hanging in his eyes
He thought, “Let me see you”
The voice stopped inside!
The room was filled with anxiety
Someone was calling names
Someone was running. The cries of his wife and children could be heard
The clock was silent
That night
A truth was known
Life is so delicate
As life is a glass pane!

నేను వ్రాసిన కథ అపోహలూ-నిజాలూ, ప్రథమ బహుమతి గెలుచుకున్నందుకు చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. ఆరవ వార్షికోత్సవ పోటీలో గెలవడం చాలా సంతోషంగా ఉంది. మరిన్ని మంచి రచనలను వ్రాసి పంపాలన్న స్పూర్తి కలుగుతోంది. పత్రిక ఎడిటర్ గారికి, మిగతా టీమ్ అందరికీ అనేక ధన్యవాదాలు. నా సహవిజేతలకు అనేక అభినందనలు.
